My name is Tom, I'm 21 years old and I'm studying computer science. I am currently in my second year at the IUT Computer Science of Limoges, specializing in application and software development. My goal is to become a Project Manager in the IT field.

Python Language

Python is a language I started learning in my middle school years. Seeing some of the basics. I started learning it in September 2021 during my first year of computer science at the IUT in Limoges.

Java Language

Java

I started learning Java in January 2022, during which time I used it for 2 projects that are in "Projects". It's an interesting language for learning Object-Oriented Programming.

C Language

C

C isn't a language I've used much and wouldn't use much for what I want to do. I've only got the basics, but not enough knowledge to say I've mastered it properly. I'm not closed to this language, and if I have to work with it, I'll do it!

C++ Language

C++

C++ is a language I knew by name because of its complexity. I started learning the basics during my high school years with Arduino. I really started to master the language in my second year at the IUT Informatique de Limoges, notably with the Raytracing project in "Projects".

C# Language

C#

C# is like C, it's a language that's not in my visual vocabulary, although I've learned some things about it. I'm not closed.

HTML Language

Html

HTML is a language I started seeing in September 2021. I find it very interesting, easy to learn and understand. Although I haven't mastered it perfectly, I'm trying to get the hang of it, especially when it comes to code quality.

CSS Language

Css

I started learning CSS at the same time as HTML, it's a complement that makes a website prettier and lets you do lots of things.

JavaScript Language

JavaScript

JavaScript is a language I saw in March 2022. It's an interesting language, which I don't necessarily master properly, I have a lot to learn.

Lua Language

Lua

I've been doing Lua since 2018, in particular for scripts on the GTA V game. It's an easy and interesting language, although it's not well known or often used.

SQL Language

Sql

SQL is a language I've been seeing since 2021. It's good to learn about data management so you can use the database in several projects. I'm very interested in this language, although it can sometimes be complicated to understand.

IntelliJ IDE

IntelliJ

I've been using the IntelliJ IDE since January 2022. The IDE is rather more complex than Eclipse, but it offers more possibilities, such as the plugins found on IntelliJ that are not available on Eclipse. IntelliJ is also cleaner and more ergonomic than its competitor.

DataGrip IDE

DataGrip

I've been using the DataGrip IDE since September 2023. In my opinion, the IDE is easier than the others. It's still very complicated to understand some of the specifics, but I like it nonetheless.

PyCharm IDE

PyCharm

I've been using the PyCharm IDE since September 2022. Following problems with my VS Code IDE, which have now been resolved, I had to find an alternative for my Python projects. PyCharm remains by far my favorite IDE for Python.

Clion IDE

Clion

I've been using the Clion IDE since March 2022. I find it an interesting IDE for C++. It has a built-in compiler, so you don't have to find one and try to get it to work, like VS Code, for example. CLion is easy to get to grips with - all that's left is the language!

Fleet IDE

Fleet

Fleet is an IDE I'm really looking forward to, because of its design and the way it stands out from other IDEs. For the moment, it's in Closed Beta under Whitelist. I can't wait to be selected to test it or for it to be released.

Visual Studio IDE

Visual Studio Code

I've been using the Visual Studio Code ide since 2017. It's an IDE known for its ease of use and efficiency. Although I prefer to use dedicated IDEs for certain languages, VS Code remains a very good IDE.

VS Codium IDE

VS Codium

I've been using VS Codium since January 2022. It's an IDE I knew from my first year at the IUT Informatique de Limoges for PostgreSQL. It's easy to learn, but I don't use it every day.

Docker

Docker

I've been using Docker since September 2021. I knew it by name and really started using it for various projects. I find it essential for certain things, although I haven't mastered it perfectly.

I've been using GitKraken since January 2022. I wasn't leaning towards it, but now that I've learned about the importance of commits for projects, I've started using it since September 2023.

Swimming:
